Ruby Fields Falls in Love
Lace up your pointe shoes and get ready to fall in love!
Fourteen-year-old Ruby Fields’ entire life has revolved around her classical
ballet training. One afternoon at the studio, a new girl by the name of Nikki has
enrolled in her class, and she’s unlike anyone Ruby has ever danced with before.
Her hair is dyed with colorful streaks, she wears all black to class and listens to
awesome bands Ruby has never heard of.
It’s love at first sight for Ruby, who’s excited but cautious towards making new
friends. The two exchange emails and form a close connection right out of a
fairytale. But not everyone in Ruby’s life sees it this way. Her mom and her
teachers only want the best for her, and that is to eat sleep and breathe ballet.
